Book review 2-13 The Wizard of Oz

I knew this story and I think that this story laways give us a dream. It is important not to foreget dreaming.

It was very mysterous story so you can enjoy reading this book when you feel tierd of studying.

O. Henry's famous short stories-sensitive, funny, sympathetic- give us vivid pictures of the everyday lives of these New Yorkers.
I want to go to New York at least one time so after I read this book, I wanted to go there soon!

Book review 2-8 The Phantom Of the Opera

It is 1880, in the Opera House in Paris. Everybody is talking about the Phantom of the Opera, the gohst that lives somewhere under the Opera House. The Phantom is a man in black clothes. He is a body without a head, he is a head without a body. He has a yellow face, he has no nose, he has black holes for eyes. Everybody is afraid of the Phantom-the singers, the dancers, the directors, the stage workers...But who has actually seen him?
I like this story. I watched this movie, too. However, this story was a little different I have known. But I could enjoy this book.

I can't and don't believe tha earth die. After I read this book, i thought that we must protect earth.

Book review 2-6 Aladdin and the Enchant Lmp

When he rubs the lamp, smoke come out of it, and then out of the smoke comes a magical jinnee. With the jinnee's help, Aladdin is soon rich, with gold and jewels and many fine things. But can he win the love of the Sultan's daughter The beautiful princess Badr-al-Budun?
Many people know this story but this book was a little different. The story of Aladdin always makes us happy and enjoy.

It was a mysterious story. After you read this book, you will feel something strange.

Book review 2-4 THE PRESIDENT'S MURDERER

The President is dead! A man is running in the night. He is afraid and needs to rest. But there are people behind him-people with light, and dogs, and guns.
A man is standing in front of a desk. His boss is very angry, and the man is tried and needs to sleep. But first he must find the other man, and bring him back-dead or alive. Two men:the hunter and the hunted, which will win and which will lose?
After I read this book, I felt a little tired. It was thriliing story.

My ideal breakfast

I like beakfast because it gives me the power. If I sipped the breakfast, I would not act as usual. It is so important for me. I always eat rice in the morning. But my ideal breakfast is bread. I want to have bread with coffee, some fruits, and careal. Moreover I want to eat them in the garden on a sunny day. When spring has come, I will do that!

About morning

I always wake up at 7:00. After waking up, I wash my face first. After that I make up a little. Eating breafast is so important for me so I never skip the breakfast. After eatng breakfast, I brush my teeth and I enjoy net surfing a little. I leave my home about at 8:00. I commute to school by bicycle so I can a little exercise everyday. It takes thirty minutes to the school from my house so it is so hard for me in simmer and winter. But I enjoy riding bocycle.

About restaurant

Ilike eating out with my family or frinds. I like pasta so when I go out with my friends, we often eat pasta at restaurant. The reason I like eating out is that I can eat varioud foods which I can't eat at home. So I want to spend money for delicous foods than purchasing new clothes.
I often go to the restaurant of broiled meat with my family. I eat much because I need not to pay by myself. Am I stingy person? No!

History of our restaurant

In 1998, an old couple, Mr and Mrs Girolamo opened their restaurant. They were fisherman originally. However, Mr. Girolamo was bad sailer ( get seasick). So they quite fisherman. One day, their old Japanese old friends stayed their home. They served delicious Italian food and friends acclaimed dishes and recommmended them to open the reataurant. It was the beginnnig of their reataurant.

Best friend

I have best friends. One of them has been known each other since we were kindergartner. We were always together. We belonged to the same club and same juku. We met everyday but after entering the high school, the canse to meet was decreasing. I missed her but we live in the same town so when I want see her I could go to her house. But recently, the chane to see her is decreasing more and more. So I want to see her and talk a lot after a long interval. I am looking forward to seeing her again.

About friends

I talked abour friend with my classmates. There were various people who have various interesting friends. Some have a frind who likes drinking Shotyu, can't never wake up early, always late for school, messy, had a fight. When I was a junior high school student, I had often fight with my friends but as I grew up, the frequency of fight decreased. Now, I don't fight with my friends at all. I want to continue and nurture the relationship with my friends.

Groupwork restaurant

We made a restatant in a group. Our group made a Italian restaurant. If there was the restaurant we made in real, I want to go! Our restaurant's menu are very reasonable and various interesting food. So we will serve the dishes in confident!

About myself.

I study Chinese as a second foreign language at this univercity. The reason why I chose Chinese is China is growing rapidly. So if I learned Chinese, the knowkedge would help me someday. Chinese is a little difficult. Writting is not so difficult because Chinese uses Chinese charactor so we are a little familiar to them. However, pronounciation is very difficult so it is very hard for me to read the sentense fluently. It will take more time to speak Chinese well but learning Chinese is very interesting!

My dream

When I was a child, I had a lot of dream. For example, I wanted to run a book store because I liked reading books very much. I love reading books even now. Sometimes, I think about working at book store recently. And, I wanted to have a bakery, too because I like bread very much. When I played tennis, I wanted to be a tennis player or sports instructor.
However now, I can't decide the job I want to do. I will work at least in two years. I search my job on my own pace.

Jobs

We talked about jobs in the class. I asked some of my friends about jobs. Yuki said that she wanted to be the boss or theacher if she could any job. And, She wants to try policeman once but her dream is to be a flight attendant. She is so friendly and kind so if she became a flight attendant, her smile makes many people happy.
I don't have dream or jobs I want to do yet. I feel a little nervous about that but I want to look for the best job for me.

Discussion

We talked about the work. I thought that the best job is actor because actor can entertain people a lot and they can enjoy work. On the other hand, I think that the most dangerous work is self-defense forces. Because recent world is filled with various danger so when something dangerous happen, they have to work. By the way, I want to be a private teacher as a part-time job because teaching someone give the chanse to study for me.

I came up with new sport event for group. It is double Olympic. In my idea, Summer Olympic games and Winter Olympic games are held the same time. If it is held in real, it will be very interesting but it is true that it has various hard task.

Bad habit

I have various bad habit. One is jiggling my knees. I want to stop this habit the most. Other habits are sitting on the chair with my legs crossed, leaning elbows on the desk, waking up late, sitting up late and eating fast. I don't like these habit so I ask my friends to give me some advises to stop them. Because these actions give people bad impression and some of them are bad for my health. One of my friends said that it would help to stop jiggling my knees by binding my knees. I will live up to this advise.

About horosope

I don't believe the fortunetelling but I often watch them on TV for some reason. When my fortunetelling is bad, I feel bad. On the other hand, when my fortunetelling is good, I feel happy. Most of the fortunetelling are about horoscope. I knew the term of each horoscope for the first time in this class. I could get new knowledge.

About blood types

The theme of blood types often becomes the topic among youg people. They say that most American's blood types is O so I was surprised to that when I knew that. I am group O blood. It is said that people of group O people are optimate, peaceful, having readerhip, friendly but on the other side those people are rough, unyielding and indesisive. I thin so, too. I think the charastarics about blood type are true. It is very interesting.

Helping housework

I do not have a part-time job. So I have free time after I go back to my home. Since last year, I have helped housework. When I was a high school student, I did not help housework at all because of studies. So I can help my mother a lot. I will do that until I leave my house because of working. Recently, I enjoy washing dishes and bathtub. It became my enjouyment now.

Before class on 1/29

Tommorow, we will have a interview test. We talk about some theme in a group. The memeber of my group are Megumi, Shino and Yukari. Usually, we don't talk in English except this class so I want to exchange various opinion in English. I feel a litle nervous but I am looking forward to talking with them. Moreover, tommorow is the last class in this semester. Days have passed so fast. I will study English harder next year.

After class on 1/22

Today, we watched the videos which we shot by ourselves. We watched five videos in an hour. All of them were very fantasitic! They were like real news so I wanted to watch them again many times! Some students used the music and pictures so I could enjoyed watching very much. I am looking forward to seeing the videos on You Tube!

After class on 1/15

In class, I talked about family, Syougatsu and favorite food with classmates. First, we talked about this year's Osyougatsu. This year, I went to Kagoshima with my family on January 1st. I went to two museums about the history of Kagoshima. It was very interesting so I want to visit there again. And I went to Aso Jinja onJanuary 3rd. This year's Osyougatsu, I could enjoy very much. Next, I talked about my favorite food. My favorite food is curry. I can eat curry everyday!
Next week we will watch the video we made. I hope we can do our vest.

Before Class 1/22

Tomorrow, we will watch the video which the students made. My group recorded the video on Monday. It was al little difficult but is was fun, too. I was nervous when I read and talk about the sport news. I enujoyed other's turn.
I am looking forward to watching other group's video. Maybe, this will be the last group work of this semester. So I will enjoy very much.
